About Us

We are Chris and Angie Heigert, we are a small hobby breeder. We live in Illinois on 15 acres so our Dogues have lots of room to play. Our animals are very loved and part of our family. Our first two bordeauxs we bought as pets and they stole our hearts that is how we got our name. We decided to breed because we wanted to be a part of improving the breed and keeping the great dogues from the past in the present. After a lot of searching we found Joan at Park Ave Bordeaux and got our male Amos, then a year later we got our female Temperance from Joan and her partner Carol from Lakeshore Bordeaux. We had our first litter of 11 puppies in 2013 and we were very pleased with the look and temperment of everyone of them.
